Almadina Hospital has served Zaria since 1996. In 2023 it opened this college at Chikaji Road so the region could grow its own nurses and midwives, taught by people who still work on the wards.

1996
Almadina Pharmacy Company Limited
Founded in Zaria to improve healthcare delivery through reliable supply chains and partnerships with reputable manufacturers.
2005
Almadina Clinic accredited
The clinic grows from a small consulting service into outpatient and inpatient care, and is accredited as an NHIS provider. Underprivileged patients are treated free.
2023
The college opens
Almadina Hospital launches Almadina College of Nursing Sciences at 1-4 Chikaji Road, Sabon Gari, to train the skilled nurses and midwives the region needs.

2024
NMCN accreditation
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria grants provisional accreditation for the Nursing and Midwifery programmes in July 2024. The first entrance examinations and interviews follow in October and November.

- Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Nursing and Midwifery programmes granted provisional accreditation in July 2024, listed as Al-Madinah College of Nursing Sciences, Zaria in the council's approved schools list.
